The Inevitable Truth.

Obama is the 44th President of the United States.

You may not agree with his policy. You may not like the idea of him as the leader of the country.
But the fact is, he is the President, whether you like it or not. It is time to let go of the idea that McCain may be president.

This is coming from me, someone who has been very vocally against the Obama campaign. But there comes a time to let it go, and embrace what is there.

This nation will never succeed as long as we continue to blindly, closed-mindedly reject what really is. We can NOT stand back and constantly dissent for the sake of doing it. It is time to stand TOGETHER as a nation, as America, and fight to fix everything that has been fucked up.

The President is not going to single-handedly destroy the nation. It’s foolish to pretend that the disaster we are in is a result of Bush and Bush alone, and it’s foolish to pretend that when things don’t go right that it’s all Obama’s fault. It’s far too easy to stand back and blame everyone else, instead of looking at your own faults as well.

Whether you like it or not, Obama is here to stay for the next four years. You can either make the retarded choice to piss and moan and bitch about every decision he makes - or sit down, THINK, RESEARCH, and develop an INTELLIGENT opinion. NOW is the time. Four years from now, REFLECT on what has happened and make your decision on what to do with him then. Don’t stack the deck now, you’re only doing yourself and your nation a disservice.

Vocal outcries, negativity, fighting the inevitable, spreading rumors and lies are NOT going to solve a thing. They’re only going to complicate issues and further the societal divide that we currently face.

The results of this election should mark the end of an era of hate, not the start of a new one. Let go of your personal prejudices and give up on this “Not My President”, “I didn’t vote for him, it’s not my fault” bullshit and embrace what will resolve.
Because the fact of the matter is, he IS our President, and if you refuse to ACT to help try to solve this nation - every single fucking one of you - and alternately decide to sit back and disagree with no viable solution in mind - it IS your fault.

Regardless of what you think of the man, his policies, his ideals - he IS the President and the office he holds demands respect. Give it to him, for fuck’s sake. Give him the benefit of the doubt for five fucking minutes, or move to France so you can go party with the rest of the flaming vaginas.

love,
josho.

I urge everyone to send a copy of this to everyone they can.

Taken from the American Republic Party:

We must make our grievances heard. I ask that all of you send the following letter to your president, senator, and representatives. The address for the President is The White House 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue NW Washington, DC 20500.
You can find your senators at http://www.ussenate.com and your representatives at http://www.house.gov.
Please send a hard copy, it makes more of an impact. Please repost this as many times as you see fit.
I plan to sign mine large enough that old George can read it without his glasses!

To whom it may concern:

This letter is from those who you are supposed to represent; the ones you are suppose to work for. We, the people, are tired. We are tired of you not representing our wishes, which is what you were sent there to do. We expected much more from you and you have let us down. Instead of defending the constitution and representing the people, you have over stepped the powers given to you by the constitution. You have put the wishes of special interests over the wishes of the people. You overburdened us with taxes and regulations and weakened our essential liberties. The Tenth Amendment of the Constitution of the United States is very clear: The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the States, are reserved to the States respectively, or to the people.
Let us state the facts for all to see:

1) You have created an unjust progressive tax system for the redistribution of wealth.

2) You have created an unconstitutional central bank, that has taken on your responsibility to issue currency.

3) You are in the process of bailing out speculators and thieves on Wall Street with our money without consulting us.

4) You have involved us in entangling alliances, and have put us in the position of being the world’s policeman against the explicit advice of our founding fathers.

5) You have created agencies and departments that you do not have the authority to create.

6) You have catered to the wishes of a few special interests and pressure groups over the wishes of the majority of the people you are supposed to represent.

7) You have left our boarders open and unguarded, endangering those you are supposed to protect.

8) You have passed laws and regulations regarding our personal behavior, which you have no right to pass.

9) You have locked up the democratic process with laws and regulations to maintain your stranglehold on the American people.

10) You have behaved unethically and unbecoming as representative of the people.

We the people demand that these grievances be heard and addressed immediately. Have you forgotten that you work for us? We have not forgotten! We will hold you accountable at the ballot box, and by public forum.

Sincerely,

Owned.

“For years now, they’ve told us that we can’t afford—that the government providing healthcare to all people is just unimaginable; it can’t be done. We don’t have the money to rebuild our infrastructure. We don’t have the money to wipe out poverty. We can’t do it. But all of a sudden, yeah, we do have $700 billion for a bailout of Wall Street.”   — Sen. Bernie Sanders on Democracy Now!

When the hell did celebrities decide that anyone gives a shit about their view on things?

News flash: we don’t.

Just because you somehow made it into the walk of fame doesn’t make your opinion worth more than a flaming bag of dog shit. God knows how you became famous in the first place, Lindsay - you’re a worthless, talentless retard.  The only thing you had going for you is the fact that you’re relatively hot, when you keep your mouth shut.  Even that’s gone now, because you’re a lesbian and completely unattainable.  Not that I’d TRY to get you, considering every time your trap opens my head starts throbbing.  Get your mind out of the gutter - I’m talking about migraines, not boners.

I’m not sure what drugs you were on when you decided your opinion counts, but I highly suggest checking into rehab.  Again.  And if, in fact, you were sober on some off chance - god, get back on the drugs, for the love of all that is good in this world.

I must have caught the most idiotic thing in history on tv late last night.

Countdown to Rockband 2 on SPIKE.  Sure, sounds completely harmless, right?  Think again.  Their countdown involved a ROCKBAND SHOWDOWN!!!!!!111111one

This isn’t the first occurrence of said stupidity.

Observe:

Blake Peebles, 16, of Raleigh, dropped out of school last year to devote himself to playing ‘Guitar Hero,’ and his parents agreed to have him home-schooled. ‘I usually play till I can’t anymore,’ Blake says.

Go ahead and read more if you enjoy migraines.

Granted, Rockband and Guitar Hero aren’t easy.  They do require some sort of ability, and rhythym.  But for god’s sake, you aren’t writing music.  You aren’t a real band.  You’re pushing buttons in time with crap on the screen.   I’ll admit, I dabble some - but for the FUN factor, not because I think it’s going to make me some uber-epic-super-rockstar.

I’ll predict his future for you right now:

He’ll make a few quick bucks for the next two years until Rockband and Guitar Hero fall off the face of the planet.  His home-schooled, high-school education will prove worthless, because his parents will give him A’s for doing well on Guitar Hero.  After the games disappear, and shred of uselessness he has on this world will be gone, and he’ll end up as a manager at McDonald’s one day.

Or maybe… just moron.

We’re now 74 days past due on a new state budget.  Why?  Because instead of doing their jobs, the Republicans in Assembly would rather sit around with their thumbs up their behinds.  Wait, they aren’t even doing that.  The room was empty today, as legislators found it more important to GO ON VACATION than to sort this out.  Boy would I love a job like that.

God, this situation is laden with irony.

How Low Can You Go?

No, this isn’t the limbo.  At least, not literally.

This just in - the Democratic ticket is pressuring the Republicans to share their tax returns.

Obama to pressure McCain on openness

Sen. Joe Biden (D-Del.) plans to release 10 years of his tax returns on Friday morning, pressuring his Republican counterpart, Alaska Gov. Sarah Palin, to do the same, Politico has learned.

The move is part of a fresh aggressiveness from Barack Obama’s campaign, which wants to discredit the new posture by John McCain as the candidate of real change.

Disclosure, or transparency, is a big way for a candidate to make that case during a campaign.

News reports from Alaska have said that Palin collected per diem travel payments even when she was at home, and the Obama-Biden campaign wants reporters to see if she paid taxes on it.

McCain has disclosed little about his family finances. He files separately from his wife, Cindy, and he has put out only his 2006 and 2007 returns. The campaign released her two-page tax return for 2006, but not complete returns.

The Obama campaign calls this “a disappointingly low bar for disclosure.”

Obama has released tax forms for each year beginning in 2000.

Really? Isn’t a little bit early in the campaign to run out of relevant, debatable information?

I’m completely bewildered by the constant change of stance that Obama seems to want to take.  One week, he speaks of how much respect he has for McCain and plans to run a clean campaign.  Next week, he tries to run the same smear campaign that the Republicans love to push on the Democrats.  I don’t give a rat’s ass about who paid what taxes to who and for what, I care about how these morons PLAN on changing the disaster we’re in.  You can stand on your pulpit and scream about how everything’s messed up, but until you have a constructive way to fix it, keep your mouth shut - you’d be just as useful.  If the Obama campaign plans on gaining ground, they’re gonna need to get back to what’s important - politics.  Not taxes, not pigs in lipstick, not how old McCain is (as if we hadn’t figured that out already).  Hell, by the time the debates come, we might as well strap Sock’em Boppers on these jackholes and watch them duke it out.  At least it will make for some good TV.

Welcome!

Good afternoon minions!

I got tired of all of my valuable thoughts going to waste, and decided I’d start this little biddy up so my mind has somewhere to defecate.  You may be in for a treat…

Or not..
